Database backup retention best practices
WebAzure SQL has default backups and you can set up the frequency and options such as local or redundancy with georeplication. I am using an Azure SQL DB. The default backups are only kept for the past 35 days. I am trying to figure out a strategy to setup Long Term Retention (weekly backup snapshots for upto 10 years).
