SO, i have the .030 over 440 with 9.5:1 compression with the stock unported 452 heads and the 284/484 cam installed 4 degrees advanced at 104. WebAug 20, 2012 · Ported iron or aluminum. WebJul 20, 2024 · Side note: With aluminum intake manifold, and water pump + housing, and heads, you can drop 100+lbs off the nose, of car. Your can even paint them to match so it looks stock. Toss in headers vs the cast iron exhaust manifolds, if you don't care about stock look, and you can save some more weight. WebMay 22, 2024 · They advise you to match the intake manifold port outlets to their specific shaped head port inlets, which have 3/8" or 1/2" radius corners, BUT the gaskets all have 3/16-1/4" radius corners. You mess the head flow up if you grind the port corners out to match a gasket.
